Chris F. Fraker, Assistant Vice President
Chris joined the office in November 2013. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in music from Virginia Tech in 2003, a master’s degree in music from the University of Illinois in 2005, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Arizona in 2009. Prior to joining the UA Foundation, he was the assistant director of development for the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona. A native of Virginia, Chris has lived in Tucson since 2005 and is a member of the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners.

Emily Jackson, Senior Associate Director
Emily joined the office in April 2023. Emily obtained her bachelor of arts in linguistics from the University of Arizona in 1998. Prior to joining the UA Foundation, Emily was part of development efforts for low-resource languages in southern China while working for an international nongovernmental organization. After returning to the U.S., Emily was a client manager for an estate planning law firm in Oro Valley, Arizona. After living in California and overseas, Emily is excited to be back in Arizona at her alma mater.

Kurt B. Reighley, Associate Director
Kurt has been at the University of Arizona since 2017. Prior to joining the Gift Planning team in August 2024, he was a senior stewardship officer focused on UA Health Sciences. He earned his bachelor of science in music (voice) and German from Indiana University. Adding to the growing count of Virginia natives in the office, Kurt moved to Tucson in 2016 after serving as development communication manager (as well as an on-air host) at KEXP 90.3 FM in Seattle.

Dana Rowland, Administrative Assistant
Having been with the UA Foundation since May 2022, Dana joined the office of Gift Planning in April 2023. She holds a bachelor of arts degree from Eastern Washington University and brings nearly 20 years of experience in customer service and administrative support. Dana will officially become a Wildcat alum in May 2024 when she plans to earn a master’s degree in geographical information systems.
